Luxury Peru

Peru is one of the most fascinating countries in Latin America. This country is more than just Machu Picchu (a UNESCO World heritage and one of the Wonders of the World); Peru offers ancient ruins and culture, spectacular landscapes (from oasis in a desert, to a rich biodiversity rainforest and snow top mountains), adventure (river rafting, hiking, horseback riding, surfing) and delicious food (Peru has the top 2 Latin America’s Best Restaurants).

With this itinerary you will be able to see the different sides of Peru in a luxurious setting. We invite you to visit this wonderful country and experience the most unforgettable moments.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Lima and transfer to the hotel

Day 2Private city tour visiting the historic Center, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, Cathedral and Larco Museum (which has the largest collection of pre-Columbian erotic art). Have dinner at one of the top 15 Restaurants in Latin America (there are 5 located in Lima!)

Day 3Flight to Iquitos. Transfer to the Aria Luxury Amazon Cruise (there are only 16 suites on board)

Day 4Excursions around the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve to view the wildlife including the famous pink Amazon dolphins. Visit a remote village to learn traditional customs

Day 5Piranha fishing and jungle walk across the high Amazon rainforest

Day 6Visit a local market and the Manatee rescue center before heading to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Transfer to the Sacred Valley

Day 7Private Tour of Machu Picchu. We can also add a one-night stay at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge (the only hotel adjacent to the site)

Day 8Visit Moray (salt mine terraces), Maras (Inca’s botanical laboratory) and Misiminay (local traditional community). Lunch at MIL, one of the most unique restaurants in the World located at 11,706 ft above sea level with spectacular views and offering an 8-course tasting menu using local ingredients

Day 9Transfer to Cusco. Half day city tour and visit to Sacsayhuaman fortress. Afternoon walking tour around San Blas, the bohemian / artsy area

Day 10Get aboard the Belmond Andean Explorer, the first South American luxury sleeper train. Tour Racqui and La Raya before your dinner on board

Day 11Sunrise at Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the world) and transfer to your private tour of Lake Titicaca including Uros and lunch at Taquile Island

Day 12Flight to Lima for your connecting international flight
